Complex care provides support for people who have higher level needs, often due to disability, chronic conditions, illness or frailty in old age. This often includes a vast range of services, such as bed transfers, help with daily tasks like going to the toilet or showering, bowel care, tracheostomy care and management of conditions like diabetes.
Finding complex care providers can feel overwhelming, especially if you are new to accessing support. Help is available through government-funded services such as the NDIS and if you are a senior, My Aged Care. These pathways can help you find the support network you need, so you can live as independently as possible and enjoy life.
